September 15, 1963 was a Sunday and it was the third Sunday that I had attended the West Erwin Street Baptist Church here in Tyler, Texas. It was also the Sunday the Holy Spirit of God brought conviction into my heart that I was lost and on my way to hell, a sinner condemned before a holy and righteous God. However, that Sunday morning as the Holy Spirit brought conviction that I was lost, He also did a work of grace in my heart, as for that Sunday I repented of my sin and trusted Jesus Christ to be my personal Saviour.
Yes, sir. Today is my spiritual birthday.
